The Rapid Stop Barrier Emergency Access Gate allows for fast entry of emergency vehicles. With pedestrian safety front of mind, the system will not slow the entry or exit of large crowds, whilst enabling the timely access of emergency vehicles as required.

The Rapid Stop Emergency Access Gate can be placed between a minimum of two standard barriers, for a continuous barrier that has a 4.2m gate opening, simplifying emergency services ingress and egress.

The Rapid Stop Barrier is a form of protection for pedestrians. Its portable nature lends itself to event and workzone applications as well as high risk terrorist areas.
Installation of the Rapid Stop Barrier System is easy! Simply connect each unit on the ground, then bolt them together using the connector plate and bolts.
The Rapid Stop Barrier standard modules are 10 feet long. The Emergency Access Gate module has the same 10 feet length. The Emergency Access Gate module is placed between 2 standard modules allowing for a continuous barrier that can be opened to allow for vehicle ingress and egress.
The Rapid Stop Barrier is available in any paint colour. Standard colours are usually galvanised steel, black, white, heritage green, yellow and blue. If there is a specific colour you require, please discuss with your local sales representative who can assist you further in your enquiry. Please contact us for details.
Yes. The Rapid Stop Barrier can stop a 2,270kg pickup travelling at 60km/h (MASH compliant)
The Rapid Stop Barrier design has been computer simulated and engineered to withstand the design impacts, then has been proven by full scale crash testing. Other cheaper non-crash tested bollards may not perform as promised.

The barriers are hot dip galvanised, then 2 pack painted. A slip resistant paint is also applied to the top surface.
