David Ashmore

Non-Executive Chairman

David is a career Chartered Accountant with 40 years of professional public practice experience focused on audit, finance, due diligence, risk and governance advisory. David has worked with many dynamic private and public companies where his experience has assisted them understanding their underlying financial position, their financial management issues and business growth challenges. He also has significant experience with the identification and management of financial and business risks and the development of structured business decision-making protocols.

 
Darren Hotchkin
Darren Hotchkin

Managing Director/CEO

Darren is a leading industry expert who has been invited to speak at several IRF and TRB Conferences internationally. He was invited to join the panel for the Australian Standard 3845 in Road Safety Barriers in 2015 and is an active TRB sub-committe member AFB20 for roadside safety hardware.

In 2007 he was a national finalist in the Regional Entrepreneur of the Year. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

In his spare time Darren enjoys travelling and boating.

Steven Difabrizio
Steven Difabrizio

Non-Executive Director

Steven has over 20 years experience in industrial rental business, is a civil engineer and has completed a Masters of Business Administration degree.

Throughout his career Steven has demonstrated strong entrepreneurial skills, having started and managed a number of successful businesses.

He is a significant, long term shareholder and supporter of Saferoads.

Trent Loveless
Trent Loveless

Chief Operating Officer

Trent has been involved in the road safety industry since 2006, and has held roles within Saferoads in product management, state management and senior management throughout his time at the organisation. He has a commanding knowledge of products and services is an expert with respect to regulatory practices, barrier acceptance conditions and product approvals. More recently, Trent has been focused on the building and growing the rental business prior to stepping into the Chief Operating Officer role in 2021, where he oversees operations of both national product sales and rental departments.

Chief Financial Officer

Mark is a versatile accounting executive with experience in multiple industry sectors gained through his work in public practice, SME private equity, and professional service firms over more than 20 years. Mark is a Registered Tax Agent and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand.

Casey McMaster

Engineering Manager

Casey became part of the Saferoads team in 2003. He has completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and has many years industry experience. Outside of work, Casey is passionate about motorcycles, and enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson.

 
Brendan Price
Brendan Price

Manager - Supply, Safety & Systems

Brendan has been with Saferoads for over two years and brings a high level of experience within manufacturing and operations. He has held senior positions within automotive, defence and private sectors. He has worked within Asia for over 20 years and lived in Hong Kong for three years. He manages Saferoads’ supply chain and all quality, health, safety and environmental policies.

 
Aimee Taylor
Aimee Taylor

Manager - Media, Comms & HR

Aimee started at Saferoads in 2018, and has completed a Bachelor of Media and Communications majoring in Public Relations and a Graduate Certificate of Human Resource Management at Deakin University. Aimee also manages her own small business, and outside of work enjoys horse riding.
