Randall Park Equestrian Centre

Project Brief

Lighting was required for a 40 acre equestrian complex in Warragul, Victoria. The aim was to illuminate laneways to improve safety for clients and employees, but because of the size of the property gridded lighting was too costly.

Outcome
  • 30 Watt LED Lights
  • Light duration is 23 to 20 hours without charge
  • 5 to 6 hours to fully charge
  • Light can be programmed to dim at specified times
  • No overhead supply wires
  • LED lights have an asymmetrical spread
  • Light pole is of a decorative finish (grey)
  • Low-carbon footprint - each light saving approximately 1 tonne of CO2 per year
  • No heavy metal in the LED fixtures

Access laneways and paddocks are well lit, since the lights have been installed, clients and employees at the centre have commented on how much easier and safer it is to care for their horses at night and in the early hours of the morning.
